Description


The SIMATIC HMI PRO (PRO = protected) devices have been designed for mounting on a support arm/pedestal. Thanks to their rugged aluminum enclosures, the SIMATIC HMI PRO devices have all-round IP65 protection and are also suitable for use in harsh environments.


As far as functionality and technical specification are concerned the IP65 variants are equal to the corresponding standard devices.


The separation of HMI and control cabinet allows flexible design concepts. The new SIMATIC HMI PRO devices are used wherever the HMI device cannot be installed direct in the control cabinet due to restricted space, or whenever an operator unit is required direct at the machine.


The devices stand out not only due to their compact and appealing industrial design, but also due to their refined mechanical features. This enables the device to be connected to the support arm system optionally from above or below. A host of support arm systems from well-known manufacturers are supported here. The SIMATIC HMI PRO devices are also suitable for connection to systems in accordance with VESA 75 and VESA 100.

Description


Most versatile Multi Panel of the 370 series with a TFT touchscreen display and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. In order to perform the highly complex applications in mechanical engineering and plant construction, machine axes must be quickly positioned in a convenient and exact manner. If you wish to get out the positioning task from the higher-level machine controller, the drive must have this function. This is exactly the task of the SINAMICS S110 with its integrated single positionier (EPos).

If you wish to use it as a speed axis, you can predefine setpoint values for the S110 via an analog input or fieldbus interface (Profibus, CAN, Profinet (available soon)). Furthermore, it can activate comprehensive integrated safety functions via on-board safety terminals without complex additional circuits.

As a modular single-axis drive with servo functionality, it covers the performance range from 120 W (1AC 230V) to 90 kW (3AC 400V). Preferably synchronous servo motors equipped with encoder, but also induction motors with/without encoder can be operated with SINAMICS S110.

  • The ability to integrate powerful CPUs with Industrial Ethernet/PROFINET interface, integrated technological functions, or fail-safe designs makes additional investments unnecessary.
  • The S7-300 can be set up in a modular configuration without the need for slot rules for I/O modules. There is a wide range of modules available both for the centralized and the distributed configuration with ET 200M.
  • The Micro Memory Card as a data and program memory makes a backup battery superfluous, and with it, part of the maintenance costs. In addition, an associated project, including symbols and comments, can be stored on this memory card to facilitate service calls.
  • The Micro Memory Card also enables simple program or firmware updates. The Micro Memory Card can be used during operation for storing and accessing data, e.g. for measured value archiving or recipe processing.

  • The S7-400 is especially suitable for data-intensive tasks in the process industry. High processing speeds and deterministic response times guarantee short machine cycle times on high-speed machines in the manufacturing industry. The high-speed backplane bus of S7-400 ensures efficient linking of central I/O modules.

ET 200S - CPU protection rating IP 20

The IM 151-7 CPU for the ET 200S system can be used in stand-alone mode as well as for distributed automation solutions with a medium-sized program. It corresponds to a CPU 314 and enables distributed preprocessing of the production data locally - even in the failsafe version. It communicates with the higher-level programmable controller over the coexistent MPI/PROFIBUS DP slave interface.

The interface module IM154-8 CPU with CPU functionality is based on the CPU 315-2 PN/DP and offers the same quantitative framework and functions. The IM154-8 CPU has one combined MPI/PROFIBUS DP interface and one PROFINET interface with three ports.
